A Visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden

Earlier this week I attended an event at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and I was able to see their current exhibition of Imaginary Worlds: A New Kingdom of Plant Giants. It had been a while since I had visited the gardens, so I was super-excited and was not disappointed. The gardens are always beautiful, the weather was perfect (fall has arrived in Atlanta!), and the sculptures that make up the exhibit are impressive and, if you ask me, pretty cute.

Imaginary Worlds is made up of 28 mosaiculture sculptures. I absolutely loved the Earth Goddess (she’s 25 feet tall!). And the gorillas!

I was really excited to happen upon the Edible Garden. Not only does this garden house the cutest of all of the Imaginary Worlds sculptures (my heart cannot handle the little smiling berries), it contains a giant herb wall and a ton of tomato plants.

Pretty, right? 🙂
