Currently – The October Edition

Somehow September just blew right on past me.  I didn’t even have time to share what I was digging last month.  Now we’re halfway through October, which just might be my favorite month of the year, and I am in full holiday season swing.  Yep, my holiday season starts with Halloween.  There’s just something about spooky decorations, crunchy leaves, and pumpkin spice everything.

I’ve been settling into the season and enjoying all the perks of fall.  Here’s a peek at what’s on rotation around here.

Wearing:  This sweater from LOFT (the regular, not petite version can be found here).  I cannot get enough of comfy, semi-chunky sweaters when the weather starts to cool down.  I fell in love with this one’s tiny turtleneck and mustard color.  (Just so you know, I have the best petite luck at LOFT.)

Eating:  Apple pie!  Until a couple weeks ago, I had never tasted apple pie because I’m stubborn and am generally opposed to cooked fruit.  I should have known better — I love almost anything involving cinnamon and a pie crust.  (My family and I recently made these little apple pie bites, which are easy and delicious.)

Trying:  This workout.  I’ve been trying to do at least a little something everyday, which often means an at-home workout right before I hop in the shower.  This is an easy-to-follow, no-equipment-needed circuit.

Hearing:  What’s more magical than the first Harry Potter movie soundtrack?
