It’s been so busy around here lately — it feels like I’ve been on the move nonstop since Easter. And it’s not slowing down! But it’s all good things (visits from friends, family get-togethers, trips to the beach), so I’ll just take a nap and not complain.
Lately I’m …
Eating: I will not stop telling anyone who will listen about this recipe. The flavor combination is so good! It might look like a bit on an undertaking, but I promise it comes together really easily because most everything cooks at the same time and temperature.
Wearing: Well, I’m not wearing wedding dresses, but my friend Rebecca is! She came to visit this past weekend (more on all of that soon) and we went shopping for her wedding gown. It was so much fun and really special — I’m so glad to have been included!
Preparing: For our Charleston trip! I’m working on lists for everything from must-do’s, to packing, to music for the drive.
Sipping: Twining’s English Breakfast tea. I’m a much bigger fan of coffee than I used to be, but it’s still not a habit or a craving, so I still like to play around with my breakfast beverage. When my sister and I were home a few weekends ago, my dad offered up some of this breakfast tea and I’m hooked.
Reading: I just started The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World. It seems right up my alley!
