2016: My Kind Year

2016 will be my kind year.  This year, I’m going to do a better job taking care of myself, being gentle when I should be.  I’m hoping that my being kind to myself will translate into my being kind to everyone else.  I’ve chosen to focus on these 16 resolutions for 2016:

  1. Stop pressing snooze.
  2. Practice yoga every day.
  3. Run regularly.
  4. Meditate daily.
  5. Develop a better morning routine.
  6. Develop a better evening routine.
  7. Make real meals for myself.
  8. Take more photos.
  9. Try new things.
  10. Get enough sleep.
  11. Read 52 books.  (Follow along here.)
  12. Adopt a more plant-based diet.
  13. Get to and maintain my body’s “happy weight”.
  14. Complete a 10K training program.
  15. Listen to more music, podcasts, etc.
  16. Cultivate relationships.

They’re broad and simple, but they’re the resolutions I need.  I’ll post about them occasionally and link to my posts from this page, so please do follow along.
